We started bethink about a garden railway, when we wanted running a live-steam locomotive. It was our first target. A locomotive, which uses real steam as a power.
The guage 45 mm is due to limitations of our technic possiblities to make own steam engines and also due to possibilities of terrain changes of the chosen piece of land. The railway is situated in very steep land, so there were no chances to make larger curves for bigger scales.

Our garden railway is situated next to our weekend house in the north of Bohemia.

First steps were done in year 2003, when appeared the original idea, a place for the railway was chosen and the first terrain changes came through.

As you can see in the gallery, works progressed with different intensity and our project was dynamically developing but it is normal :-)).
